The 6th-2006 Sport- Cultural Festival Mountainous Ethnic Groups in Hoai An District welcomed participation of three troops from highland communes in Hoai An District: sport-cultural troop of An Son commune, sport-cultural troop of Dakmang commune and sport-cultural troop of Dakmang commune. This kind of festival is periodically organized twice a year by Hoai An District with aims to create opportunities for highland communes to meet and exchange culture together, enhancing mutual solidarity for the sake of better spiritual and cultural activities in remote localities.
The three-day festival (from 26 to 28 July) saw many contests of traditional sports. Moreover, a lot of activities with strong highland ethnic cultural identity such as Gong performance, epic narration, village festival traditional beliefs, public music performance, beauty contest.
