Ham Ho is confluence of Dong Huu River and Cat River. It locates at Phu My Hamlet, Tay Phu Commune, Tay Son District, Binh Dinh Province, (about 55km west of Quy Nhon City). This nearly-3-km part of the rivers has a lot of rocks in different dimensions, shapes and positions lying under the blue water. It murmurs all year round like a symphony of the nature. Ham Ho is surrounded by ranges of mountains and forests with precious fauna and flora. Houses on stilts which scatters along the river banks, in the forest or on mountain slopes set a very unique beauty of Ham Ho.
Rowing boats leisurely in Ham Ho, visitors can wallow themselves in the beautiful scene of the mountain, the forest and the river while whispering two folk verses about this tourist spot: “Ham Ho has blue water/ Fishes swims freely in the river, birds sings boiterouslyin clumps of trees”.
It is very regrettable for the visitors if they don’t go to Ham Ho, especially in spring whenever they come to Binh Dinh, land of martial art. On the last 5th day of this first lunar month only, Ham Ho received around 10.000 visitors. This figure is an undeniable proof of seduction of the tourist spot.
