Tuy Phuoc electricity construction & installation joint-stock company was completing all formalities to submit Ken Lut Ha hydroelectric plant project for provincial People's Committee's approval, director of the company, Le Thanh Long, said on October 5.
Ken Lut Ha hydroelectric plant will be built in Vinh Kim and Vinh Hao communes of Vinh Thanh District with the expenditure of nearly VND133 billion (US$8.3 million). Provincial People's Committee also approved to increase the plant's capacity from 2.7 megawatt to 6 megawatt.
The project will be kicked off by 2008 and fully operational by 2009.
