Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People's Committee, Vu Hoang Ha, on October 17 received the general director of Sai Gon Railway Passenger Transportation Company, Vu Ta Tung, and representatives of related enterprises at the head office of Binh Dinh Province People's Committee. Representatives of provincial functional bodies attended the reception.
At the reception, Chairman Ha expressed the hope Binh Dinh expected to set up a five-star train from HCMC and Quy Nhon and vice versa, meeting demands of investors, tourists, and people in Binh Dinh.
Mr. Vu Ta Tung agreed to the proposal and asked for a close coordination between two sides for the full operation of trains ahead of the second quarter, 2008.
Chairman Ha promised to create the most favourable conditions for investors, asking for the highest quality for passengers.
On the same day, Chairman Ha also received director of Vietnam Air Service Company (Vasco), Bui Ngoc Hoang. The need for traveling by plane from Binh Dinh to HCMC and Ha Noi was increasing; however, Vasco hasn't met the ever-increasing demand and its services weren't as good as those of Vietnam Airline.
