Tourists to Binh Dinh rise by 25%

Binh Dinh greeted an estimated 47,102 tourists in October, a year-on-year surge of 24%. In the first ten months of 2007, the number of tourists was about 476,950, a rise of 25% over 2006 with 33,326 foreign tourists involved, an increase of 14%, said Binh Dinh Tourism Department.

The tourism turnover in October estimated to reach over VND119 billion (roughly US$7.4 million), a rise of 28%. The turnover from stay, eating and drinking, sales and services, and traveling accounted for 32%, 37%, 24%, and 7%, respectively.
