The Ryoga container vessel was to anchor at Quy Nhon Port on October 31 to load and unload 150 TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units) and 200 TEUs of cargo, respectively, announced branch of Vietnam Transport and Chartering Corporation (Vietfracht Quy Nhon).

The 580-TEU-Ryoga vessel plans to anchor at Quy Nhon Port on Wednesday weekly and, then, directly go to Hong Kong. With the present of one more shipping company for the Quy Nhon-Hong Kong route, import and export enterprises will have more choices for the transportation, avoiding the stagnation of cargo.

The overall cargo throughput via Quy Nhon Port in the first ten months of 2007 reached 40,921 TEUs, a year-on-year surge of 5,000 TEUs.
