Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (EZ) Administration has granted the investment license to 13 projects worth VND10,443 billion (roughly US$652,33 million), including three foreign-invested projects with the capital of $299 million.
Two projects investing in the infrastructure of the industrial park (IP) are now being conducted on an area of 1,077 ha. Three projects for the IP's division A include the production complex and factories for lease, Nhon Hoi concrete plant, and pre-processed house frame factory. A wind power plant with the capacity of 21 MW will also be built on an area of 140 hectares.
In the tourism sector saw four big projects including Nhon Hoi tourism and service center; Trung Luong, Canh Tien, and Vinh Hoi resorts.
Investors have tried their utmost to complete all regulated formalities and preparations so that their projects will be soon conducted.
In September, there were two projects on the IP's infrastructure at division B and wind power generation worth $34 million and $36 million, respectively, let alone three already kicked off in late 2006.
Nhon Hoi EZ Administration closely cooperated with investors to assist them in completing formalities, asking them to promote the progress.
Nhon Hoi EZ Administration also received more than 30 investors in fields of tourism, light industry, electronics.
