Quang Trung industrial park (IP) has been operational since 2003, attracting many enterprises to invest. The development of Quang Trung IP has positively promoted the industry and small scale ones in Quy Nhon city.

To meet the ever-increasing demands of Quy Nhon city-based enterprises, Quang Trung IP was established, mainly renting out premises. Quang Trung IP also helps move factories from residential areas, partly reducing the environment pollution in the city.
Dong Hai mechanics enterprise was one of the first ones building factories at Quang Trung IP. " The urgent matter for the development of industrial production is the premise We decided to rent the premise at Quang Trung IP as soon as the city authorities had plan to build Quang Trung IP," said director of Dong Hai enterprise, Dinh Thanh Hai.
Thanks to its location at Quang Trung IP, Dong Hai enterprise has expanded its production, which made the production value four times increase and created job for 50 people.
Likely, Hung Phat electric cable and wire enterprise has stepped forward since it operated factories at Quang Trung IP. "I decided to invest VND1.5 billion in building factories and buying equipments. Our products are now highly appreciated in domestic markets," said director of Hung Phat enterprise, Bui Tan Hoang.
Quang Trung IP has the area of 8.5 ha. 30 enterprises are now operating here with the capital of over VND60 billion (US$3.5 million). The annual industrial value recorded at nearly VND100 billion ($6.25 million). |
Two above-mentioned enterprises are only two typical examples, let alone 28 enterprises with different fields operating stably. "Quang Trung IP has strengthened enterprises whose products are widely accepted in foreign and domestic markets. Many enterprises have applied new technologies to improve the quality, enhancing the competitiveness in the markets," said head of Quy Nhon industry and trade office, Le Thi Xuan Loan.
