Under the State President Nguyen Minh Triet's visit to Japan, Saigon Investment Group and Marubeni Group on November 27 signed an agreement witnessed by State President Triet to establish a strategic partnership.

Noteworthy is a US$1.5 billion agreement to develop an energy and industry complex in central Binh Dinh Province. This is the first wind power-generating project on industrial scale in Vietnam.

Also, in this visit, Vietnamese and Japanese businesses signed economic deals worth more than $4.5 billion, of which the project on building the energy and industry complex in Binh Dinh was the most worthy one.
