Boost up measures attracting investment projects in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone

On the 2nd April, 2007, Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee issued a Decision on issuance of the Action Plan implementing the Programme carrying out the Resolution adopted by the seventeenth Party Congress - Binh Dinh Province Party Committee, comprehensively carrying out the development task of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (EZ) period 2006-2010.

The plan clearly states out that the objectives of investing and developing Nhon Hoi Economic Zone to the year 2010 are attracting 40-50 investment projects, creating 10 thousand new jobs, contributing about 12% gross provincial product.

The plan, investing progress, building and development of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone are clearly divided into different components: planning land, compensating for cleared land, building resettling areas, investing in technical infrastructure, job training, attracting and carrying out investment projects year by year. The plan also mentions to 8 big solutions, consisting of: mobilizing all sources of investment to mutual infrastructure serving EZ’s functional areas, pushing investment promotion activities and supporting investors, building up a policy mechanism of attracting investment, implementing well the cleared land compensation, training professional and skilled human resources, organizing at-site training courses for labour force to improve the competence of those who will work for  the EZ, effectively reforming the administrative procedures following one-door mechanism, strongly protecting the firm developing environment of the EZ and strengthening the state management in term of economics, socio-culture, defense security and governmental building of the province.
