19-megawatt-Tra Xom hydroelectric plant to be built

Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee on Wednesday 2, 2007 signed the certificate of investment for Tra Xom Hydroelectric Joint-Stock company (head office at No.21 Chuong Duong street, Quy Nhon city) to build and operate the Tra Xom hydroelectric plant at Vinh Son and Vinh Kim hamlets (Vinh Thanh district).

The 19-megawatt-Tra Xom hydroelectric plant is to be built in May with the total investment of 397 billion VND (nearly 24.8 million USD) and proposed to operate in mid-2009.
