Dak Ple hydro-plant to be built

Minister of Industry additionally approved the Dak Ple pilot hydro-plant project in the project of nationwide pilot hydro-plant in Binh Dinh.

Accordingly, the aim of the Dak Ple project is to use the water supply from the B and C lakes to the A lake of the Vinh Son hydro-plant to generate the power. The plant will be built at the Vinh Son hamlet (Vinh Thanh district) with the capacity of 3,2 megawatt. The Ministry of Industry also noted that the Dak Ple hydro-plant’s operation will have to fulfil the requirements of the procedure as the Vinh Son hydro-plant has. The investment for the project has to be appropriate for the electricity development project in Binh Dinh and the plan and progress of building the grid synchronously.
