Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee on May 9 promulgated terms instructing the conduction of provincial Standing Committee of the Party’s No.62-KL/TU Conclusion approved on May 7 on the adjustment of functional areas in the Nhon Hoi Economic zone.

Accordingly, the adjustment will be conducted by expanding the industrial zone to the North with an appropriate area to upgrade the total minimum area of the industrial zone of nearly 1,500 ha. The projected area of the new urban area will be simultaneously moved to the North and East which are contiguous to the Cat Tien residential and tourism areas. Also, the land budget for tree planting to isolate the industrial, new urban and other functional areas will be adjusted to meet the demand in the investment attraction, increase the effectiveness of using land and preserve the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone’s landscape and eco-environment.

The adjustment of the functional areas won’t influence the total approved projected area in Nhon Hoi Economic zone.
