Binh Dinh: US$229 mln for building Nhon Hoi International Port

The Nhon Hoi Economic Zone Administration granted the license to the Gemandept Nhon Hoi International Port Joint Stock Company to build the Nhon Hoi International Port.

Under the project, the company will develop the Nhon Hoi International Port and transport services on an area of 119 ha with the capital of VND3,700 bln (US$229 mln). The two main 480-meter berths will be built, allowing the port to accommodate 30,000-ton ships.

The port is designed to have annual cargo throughput of 3 million tons by 2010 and 12 million tons by 2020 when in full performance. The construction is proposed to start in the late quarter of 2007. This is the 10th projects granted the license to invest in the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.
