Roadworks on the Nhon Hoi-Nhon Ly road

*Finish on time

After more than one year, the Nhon Hoi – Nhon Ly road has almost been completed. In mid-July, final phases have been done. According to the director of Binh Dinh Land and Water Traffic Joint Stock Company, Pham Dinh Hai, the Nhon Hoi-Nhon Ly road was a large-scaled project conducted in a short time, so we had had many difficulties. We have tried to finish it on time so that we could do other works in the Nhon Hoi EZ. We have currently cooperated with the Land Road Technology Center No 5 (Vietnam Land Road Department) to check the thickness of concrete layer and finish other items.  We tried to complete the road before July 20.

“The quality and progress of the work is our top concern; therefore, we are always present at the roadworks to solve technical problems and remind workers to follow technical standards so that the road can be finished on time as planned,” said the engineer Nguyen Ngoc Son, who is in charge of consulting and supervising the Nhon Hoi-Nhon Ly Road.

The Nhon Hoi-Nhon Ly road has a great significance with the Nhon Hoi EZ and the social-economic development of Nhon Ly peninsula commune. The road will connect the main road in the Nhon Hoi EZ with the Nhon Ly and Cat Tien tourism areas which will be built in the coming time. Thanks to this, a East-West and North-South traffic network will be completely established in the Nhon Hoi EZ. The road will also contribute to intensify the progress of conducting other roadworks in the Nhon Hoi EZ.

A passage of the Nhon Hoi-Nhon Ly road

 

Bids for the main road in the Nhon Hoi EZ have been started with the capital of nearly VND400 bln. This is a big project. Thanks to the Nhon Hoi-Nhon Ly road, the transport of machines, equipments and materials for this big project becomes very convenient. Contractors have used many equipments to conduct the roadworks with the aim at finishing it as soon as possible, according to the deputy head of traffic project administration under Binh Dinh Transport Department.

* The road for a new life

The Nhon Hoi-Nhon Ly road has the total length of nearly 5,000 meters, running from the provincial road No 639 (in Nhon Hoi) to the central of the Nhon Ly commune. The road includes 4 passages: the first passage is 2,684 meter length and 52 meter wide, the second is 1,317 meter length and 24 meter wide, the third is 841 meter length and 18 meter wide, and the fouth is 130 meter length and 12 meter wide. The total expenditure for the construction of Nhon Hoi-Nhon Ly road is more than VND100 bln.

“Previously, the road was only a pathway that resulted in many difficulties for means of transport. But now it has been rebuilt. In the coming time, the Nhon Hoi-Nhon Ly road and the Quy Nhon-Nhon Hoi bridge will make the transport between the Nhon Ly and other areas more convenient,” said the vice chairman of Nhon Ly’s People’s Committee, Nguyen Van Duc.

The two-lane road will change the life of residents in the Nhon Ly peninsula commune, a place was separated from other areas just due to traffic obstacles. Previously, the only way to Nhon Ly is to go by sea, but now there have been coaches for the Quy Nhon-Nhon Ly route and trucks providing goods for local residents. Thanks to this, commercial activities and services in this peninsula commune will be developed quickly.
