Binh Dinh: State-owned enterprises to be equitized by 2009

Binh Dinh’s Committee of enterprise innovation and development on September 13 held a meeting on restructuring State-owned enterprises (SoEs) in Binh Dinh in the 2007-2009 period. Vice-Chairman of Binh Dinh province People’s Committee cum Head of Committee of provincial enterprise innovation and development, Le Huu Loc, chaired the meeting.

Under the plan, SoEs in Binh Dinh will have been restructured by 2009, of which some will be equitized this year, including: Thi Nai Port, Quy Nhon Trade Union Tourism Co., Ltd, Chanh Thang Mineral Water Co., Ltd. In 2008, Lam Son Food import-export Co., Ltd and Binh Dinh Printing Company will be equitized.

Also, in 2008, three forest companies, named Ha Thanh, Quy Nhon, and Song Kon, will be affiliated with PISICO as subsidiaries before being equitized and irrigation works exploitation enterprise will be converted to one-member Co., Ltd.

Binh Dinh water supply and drainage company, Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Company (BIDIPHAR), Binh Dinh Import Export and Service-Investment-Producing Corp. (PISICO), and three limited liability companies: Vinh Thanh, Van Canh, and An Lao will be equitized by 2009.
