Cho Lon trade center project receives Government’s approval

On behalf of PM Nguyen Tan Dung, Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai on September 27 approved the construction project of Quy Nhon-Cho Lon trade center in the form of BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer).

An Phu Thinh Joint Stock Company will invest about VND218 billion (US$13.5 million) in building Quy Nhon-Cho Lon trade center.

The project was proposed after the fire at Quy Nhon Cho Lon (big market). Cho Lon Trade Center will contribute to stabilize business activities and provincial social-economic situation when being fully operational.

The construction of Quy Nhon-Cho Lon trade center will be kicked off in late 2007, according to Chairwoman of An Phu Thinh Company’s board of directors, Ngo Thi Dieu.
