Number of internet subscribers strongly increases

The number of internet subscribers in Binh Dinh has strongly increased since early 2008. So far, there have been more than 16,000 subscribers, a double surge over late 2007.

Binh Dinh Telecommunication Company is the internet provider having 15,000 subscribers; meanwhile, Military Telecom Corporation (Viettel) got 1,500.

There is still an ever-increasing demand for internet services in Binh Dinh, particularly in Districts of An Nhon, Hoai Nhon, Phu Cat, and Phu My.

Binh Dinh Telecommunication and Viettel are expected to develop more 2,000 and 500 new internet subscribers until late 2008, respectively.
