The five-day Central Key Economic Region International Trade Fair 2008 (CREXPO 2008) will begin from November 19 in Da Nang City. This is expected to be an opportunity for provinces and enterprises in the Central Key Economic Region to strengthen the trade promotion and cooperation.

Cooperation – Integration – Development
CREXPO 2008 is under the national trade promotion program 2008 entitled “Cooperation – Integration – Development”, aiming to bring into play all advantages in trade and products of provinces in the Central Key Economic Region.
The fair is also expected to be a good opportunity for provinces and enterprises in the region and nationwide to cooperate and seek new trade partners.
About 400 stalls of domestic and foreign enterprises will join the fair. The fair, therefore, will display products of all kinds, including agriculture, forest, aquiculture, handicrafts, construction materials, equipment, insuarance and banking services, IT and communications, and investment projects.
Opportunity for Binh Dinh
Binh Dinh Department of Trade and Industry steered provincial Trade Promotion Center to prepare for the participation.
Binh Dinh will join the fair with the theme “Binh Dinh – potential and investment opportunities”, said Van Huu Dinh, director of provincial Trade Promotion Center.
The Central Key Economic Region International Trade Fair 2008 will be co-organised by the Trade and Industry Ministry’s Trade Promotion Agency, Da Nang’s People’s Committee, the municipal Department of Industry and Trade and Viet Nam National Trade Fair and Advertising Co. Five cities and provinces in the Central Key Economic Region include Da Nang, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh. |
Binh Dinh’s achievements in the international economic integration process will be introduced. Investment projects, traditional craft villages, trade services, as well as products will als be advertised in the fair.
This could be a good opportunity for Binh Dinh to advertise its image, targeting the aim of cooperation, integration, and development.
Binh Dinh’s enterprises will join the fair with eight stalls, displaying its achievements in trade and industry, documents on Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and industrial zones, and specialized products.
A variety of Binh Dinh’s products will be displayed at the fair, including Song Than rice vermicelli, girdle cake with coconut milk, and other specialities. Also, two Cham ethnic minority artisans will perform the making of brocade.
