The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) on December 22 held a meeting on the sponsorship for export enterprises in southern central regions and Central Highlands (Tay Nguyen).
More than 300 representatives of timber and coffee exporters attended the meeting held in Quy Nhon City.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of BIDV Board of Directors Tran Bac Ha said BIDV is willing to share experience and help exporters in the trade promotion and market seeking, let alone the financial support to enhance the competitiveness.
BIDV signed 13 credit contracts worth 3000 billion VND (177 million US$) with exporters in provinces of Binh Dinh, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Daklak, and other provinces.
The contracts are to come into effect by January 1, 2009.
