Techmart Tay Nguyen 2008: opportunity for enterprises

A showcase of advanced technologies and equipment made for export-bound industries will be held in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province in April. Vice Director of Binh Dinh Department of Science and Technology, Dr. Vo Ngoc Anh talked more about it.

Q: Binh Dinh’s enterprises have participated in many Techmarts. What do you think about the effectiveness?

A: Thanks to such exhibitions, provincial enterprises could popularize their technologies and equipment and find many partners. Their products were highly appreciated and ordered a lot.

Particularly, the Techmart-post commercialization of technologies and equipment helped enhance the competitiveness among enterprises, making them strongly develop.

Q: Which products made by Binh Dinh’s enterprises will be able to join Techmart Tay Nguyen 2008?

A: Techmart Tay Nguyen 2008 will include will include 150 pavilions of new products, technologies, equipment and research projects from national research institutes, schools and businesses.

According to regulations, advanced technologies and equipment having one of three following criteria are able to show at Techmart. Technologies and equipment are the results successfully tested and applied, those which were perfectly made, or those which have reasonable price and good quality.

Many research institutes and enterprises in Binh Dinh have products meeting such criteria, such as Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Company and Center for Advanced Technology Application.

Q: How will enterprises be aided when they participating in Techmart Tay Nguyen 2008?

A: Binh Dinh Deparment of Science and Technology will submitted supporting policies for provincial People’s Committee’s approval. Depending on the scale of Techmart, the expenditure is different.

With the national techmart, for example, enterprises will be aided with 100 percent of the expenses. At Techmart Tay Nguyen 2008, those who join will be provided a free pavilion. Also, they will be aided with 50 percent of expenses.
