Answering questions raised by Binh Dinh Newspaper reporter, Director of Vietnam-Japan Human Resources Development Cooperation Center (VJCC), Mr. Satoru Kohiyama said that wood processing enterprises in Binh Dinh needed to cooperate.
Q: Why is VJCC concerned of wood processing enterprises in Binh Dinh?
A: Binh Dinh is considered as one of provinces where the wood processing industry is strongly developing. Upon visiting to Binh Dinh, I realized this truth more clearly. We, therefore, accepted to aid Binh Dinh’s wood processing industry under the Mekong Private Sector Development Facility – International Finance Corporation.
Q: How about its effectiveness?
A: The development speed of enterprises is at a rapid pace. Tien Dat wood industry joint stock company has, for example, successfully improved its production line after joining courses.
As I know, Tien Dat Company was one of Binh Dinh’s enterprises recording the highest export turnover last year. I hope that the wood processing industry in Binh Dinh will strongly develop in the future.
Q: What do you think about the way of living of Vietnamese and the operation of enterprises?
A: I realised that Vietnam and Japan share some similarities such as conceptions of the life, family, and clan. But there are also several differences between two countries, that is, the cooperation in work.
During the time living in Vietnam, I heard that if one Vietnamese is against one Japanese, the Vietnamese will won but if three Vietnamese people are against three Japanese ones, they will lose. This proves that Vietnam’s enterprises need to cooperate. I hope that the Vietnamese will win when three against three.
