Golden Trains Tourism-Transportation Joint Stock Company held an opening ceremony of high-grade passenger trains named Golden Trains for the HCM City-Quy Nhon-HCM City route on April 14. The operation of Golden Trains is expected to attract more investors and tourists to Binh Dinh.
To well prepare for its operation, the trains initially depart from Sai Gon at 9.50 pm on uneven dates and from Quy Nhon at 5.07 pm on even dates every other day.
Since mid-June, there will be each train departing from both stations. It includes four air-con soft sleepers, two air-con soft seats, and air-con restaurant car. There are seven compartments with four berths for each in sleepers.
Initially, the trains target at the social effectiveness. This means that passengers will be provided with best services.
The train for Quy Nhon-HCM City departs from Quy Nhon station, which is another advantage for most passengers living in Quy Nhon. The company plans to cooperate with Quy Nhon station to improve its infrastructure and set up a booking office here in the coming time.
The Ministry of Transport of Vietnam and Vietnam Railway Corporation (VR) also gave Golden Trains many priorities. The departure and arrival time of golden trains is considered as the “golden time” because it is very convenient for passengers.
The company will also work with VR to solve difficulties and perfect services in the near future.
