Vietnam Data communication Company 3 (VDC3) has been doing a study on “Establishing geographical information system and website for the investment management in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (EZ)”. This is expected to help improve the management of Nhon Hoi EZ Administration (NEZA).

The study aims to improve the effectiveness of NEZA’s management in the investment promotion. After two years, the study has initially gained some achievements, such as a geographical information system for the management, a website for the investment promotion under “one-door” mechanism in Nhon Hoi EZ, and a qualified staff to maintain and update data for the system.
These include subsystems: the system management, the investment registration and management, and the website (www.nhonhoi.gov.vn) providing the information about Binh Dinh’s socio-economic situation and infrastructure of Nhon Hoi EZ.
The website is a bridge between investors and NEZA, allowing investors to seek investment opportunities in Nhon Hoi EZ. Each subsystem has its own functions but closely connects with each other.
The geographical information system and website are expected to help domestic and foreign investors seek investment opportunities in Binh Dinh. They also provide the information for those who want to know about Nhon Hoi EZ.
Also, thanks to the information system, NEZA’s staff will be able to use softwares to better their work and services.
VDC 3 representative promised that that was one of important studies contributing to the development of Nhon Hoi EZ. We planned to add other user-friendly systems. Even after the study is completed, we still continue supporting technically to ensure its best operation.
Nhon Hoi EZ is a highlight of Binh Dinh’s economy. The IT application is, therefore, necessary, helping improve the effectiveness in the investment promotion.
