Cat Nhon Commune involved in Phu Cat clean water project

Cat Nhon Commune was one of localities, including Cat Thang, Cat Chanh, Cat Tien, Phuoc Hoa, Phuoc Thang, and My Chau involved in Phu Cat clean water project, Belgium consultative delegation suggested in a meeting with Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee on May 13.

They also suggested the establishment of a joint stock company for the solid waste treatment project.

Belgian Government-sponsored projects of water supply in Phu Cat District, solid waste treatment in An Nhon, Tay Son, Phu My, and Hoai Nhon, and Hoc Mon irrigation which are under Vietnam-Belgium Cooperation Program for the 2006-2010 period are expected to start by early 2009 with the capital of EURO 5 million.

In 2005, the Belgian Government also sponsored the projects of improving the living standard in Phu My Town through clean water and of increasing agricultural capacity through the improvement of irrigation works in Phu My.
