The National Center for Agriculture and Fishery Encouragement on August 7-8 held a meeting on minor projects under the agriculture sector development program (ASDP).
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development chaired the meeting with the participation of representatives of 40 provinces.
Some sub-components have been carried out in the past three years (2006-08), including the establishment of consultative council for agriculture encouragement in 40 provinces, the budget support in paying for those who are in charge of agriculture encouragement, and the improvement of agriculture encouragement system.
Minor projects have had positive effects on activities in the agriculture encouragement at localities, promoting the socialization of agriculture encouragement. The agriculture encouragement has been more and more strengthened.
Participants presented results and shared experiences, aiming to build an action plan to effectively conduct projects in the following years.
