Tourism turnover up 44 percent

Statistics showed that Binh Dinh’s total retail and services turnover was estimated to reach over VND9.6 trillion in the first eight months, an increase of nearly 30 percent over 2007.

Turnover from hotel and restaurant, retail, and tourism strongly increased.

The number of tourists coming to Binh Dinh was up 34 percent over same period last year, including a rise of 47 percent of foreign tourists. The tourism turnover was estimated to reach VND131 billion, a surge of 44 percent.
