Sai Gon – Nhon Hoi Industrial Park JSC promised provincial leaders the completion of infrastructure construction in 2008. At present, an area of 150 hectares has been finished. The company is expected to complete an area of 180 hectares by the end of this year.
* Speed up construction
Nhon Hoi industrial park – zone A has an area of 630 hectares. The infrastructure which will be built includes systems of traffic, waste treatment, electricity, telecommunication, banking, trade center, and other services.
Zone A will give priority over industries such as electricity, electronics, IT, consumer goods, and other service industries.
The construction of zone A was kicked off in December, 2006 because it plays an important role in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.
However, the progress has been only speeded up since early 2008 after all formalities were completed.
At present, all have been continuously operating to meet the required progress. Nearly 400 workers of six companies with hundreds of facilities have participated in the construction.
The technical staff of Sai Gon – Nhon Hoi Industrial Park JSC has carried out the observation and management, helping speed up the construction.
The weather is quite severe. We have to frequently water to reduce dust and temperature. Makeshift houses were also built for workers, said a technical officer of Thuan Duc Co., Ltd.
We are in charge of the work worth 31 billion VND. We’ve completed nearly one third of our work. The rest is expected to be finished in the coming time, he added.
The total length of roads in zone A is over 20 km. Currently, we’ve carried out the construction of 11 km of which 5 km of road was already concreted, according to engineer Tran Thanh Hoang.
* Strengthen investment promotion
Thanks to the investment promotion carried out by Sai Gon Invest Group, Nhon Hoi Industrial Park – Zone A attracted some foreign investors.
Foxconn Group, for example, signed a memorandum of contract to invest 1.5 billion USD in zone A. Other investors from Taiwan, Japan, and China also paid attention to Nhon Hoi Industrial Park - Zone A.

Sai Gon – Quy Nhon Minerals JSC, Binh Dinh aquatic products JSC, and Phuc Son Cement Company have built their factories in zone A.
