FDI capital hits US$48.7 million in 2008

Binh Dinh attracted five foreign direct investment (FDI) projects worth US$48.7 million in 2008.

The disbursed FDI capital hit US$17 million, a surge of 42.9% over 2007 and a turnover of US$34.33 million.

Also, there are now other projects, such as the trade center (Metro Cash & Carry Vietnam Co.Ltd), wastewater treatment and water supply plant (GS Engineering & Construction), Electronic Equipment Factory (Abestech).

At present, Binh Dinh has 32 FDI projects worth over US$409 million.
