The Ha Noi-Quy Nhon direct flight route opens on Jan. 16 with three flights a week. All preparations for the route have been ready so far.

The Prime Minister and Ministry of Transport approved the opening of the Ha Noi-Quy Nhon direct route. Provincial leaders and Vietnam Airlines (VNA) also made every effort for its operation.

The direct route will not only meet the increasing demand of traveling to Binh Dinh but contribute to the socio-economic development in Binh Dinh, said provincial Chairman Nguyen Van Thien.

The provincial People’s Committee worked out practical measures to attract people to travel by air when going to Ha Noi.

There will be buses to pick up passengers from Tuy Hoa of Phu Yen province and An Khe of Gia Lai province. Hotels in Quy Nhon will also reduce prices for those who travelling on the direct route.

Members of businesses and organizations in Binh Dinh are encouraged to travel by air when doing business in Ha Noi.

“The information on the direct route has been now advertised on the mass media in Quy Nhon city. Those who wish to travel on Ha Noi – Quy Nhon direct route could buy tickets at VNA offices nationwide,” said head of VNA office in Quy Nhon Nguyen Van Thanh.

Director of Phu Cat Airport Vu Khac Chien said the airport had finished the preparation for the opening of Ha Noi-Quy Nhon direct route.
