Resolve problems, create favorable conditions for businesses

Permanent Deputy Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Pham Van Thanh on Oct. 22 worked with the province’s Economic Zones Authority.

At the meeting, the representatives of the Authority presented the operation of enterprises in Phu Tai and Long My industrial zones as well as Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.

The reports said that 156 businesses have invested in three zones with the total capital of VND18,679 trillion.

In the first nine month, the industrial production value in Phu Tai and Long My IZs reached VND1,148 trillion, a surge of 25.28 percent and the export turnover reaped US$78.3 million.

Thanh also went on an inspection tour in Phu Tai IZ. Representatives of businesses said they were seeking new contracts; whilst, most timber companies are facing some difficulties.

He steered the authority to urgently coordinate with functional bodies to help businesses resolve problems, creating favourable conditions for their operation.

Also, Thanh asked functional bodies to gear up the house construction for workers in industrial zones.
