The province’s Cooperative Alliance has coordinated with the mass media and related bodies to boost the propaganda campaign, partly contributing to the development of collective economy in the central province of Binh Dinh.
Positive effectiveness
Various activities have been held across the province this year, according to an official of Binh Dinh Cooperative Alliance, to popularize policies on the collective economy as well as the information about the province’s Cooperative Alliance and its affiliates.
Thanks to the propaganda, the officials’ awareness on the collective economy development was partly raised. Also, the Law on Cooperative and related documents put into effect help to enhance the stability in the field.
Television programming on the collective economy has been broadcast on the province’s television and radio station, let alone the information about it published on Binh Dinh Newspaper monthly.
All aspects of cooperatives and its members were widely popularized, helping the public know more about the collective economy.
The province’s Cooperative Alliance also signed a contract with provincial Youth Union to uphold the role of the youth in developing the collective economy in the 2009-2012 period.
The cooperation program has contributed to enhance the young people’s role in implementing policies on the collective economy development, particularly in poor districts.
The cooperation between Binh Dinh Cooperative Alliance and the mass media as well as other bodies proved effective.
Alongside these, the Alliance has its bulletin published once per three months, popularizing essential information about the collective economy.
Improve the quality of propaganda
Popularizing the collective economy still exists some shortcomings. Many monthly themes, for example, were not built systematically, making the information become unclear. Also, the bulletin hasn’t been published in time.
Learning experience since early 2009, Binh Dinh Cooperative Alliance is to continue to coordinate with the mass media and relevant bodies to boost the quality of the propaganda.
Alongside the approved information, the 2003’s Law on Cooperative and related documents will be popularized in the coming time, said Chairman of Binh Dih Cooperative Alliance Nguyen Chi Linh.
Policies on reforming, developing, and improving the effectiveness of the collective economy will also be expected to spread across the province.
