Agricultural production reaps encouraging results

A meeting was held on June 18, evaluating the agricultural production in the first six months this year and preparing for the new crop.

Reports said that the province’s agricultural production, forestry, and fish farming got considerable achievements in the first six months.

The production value in agriculture, forest, and aquaculture reached over VND2 trillion, a surge of 11.1 percent over the same period last year.

The agriculture saw an increase of 11.1 percent, breeding 22.9 percent, agricultural services 13.4 percent, forest 2.2 percent, and aquaculture 12.1 percent, according to the reports.

The people’s living standards in rural areas have been gradually improved, contributing to stabilize the province’s economy and social issues.
