The province’s Labor Federation held a meeting with the leaders of 123 enterprises in Binh Dinh on October 8, on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (Oct.13).
Provincial Vice Chairman Le Huu Loc and the representatives of functional bodies attended the meeting.
Chairman of Bnh Dinh Labor Federation Huynh Thanh Xuan briefed the participants on the operation of businesses and the development of labor unions in the province.
Binh Dinh has worked out many measures and policies to attract nearly 3,000 domestic and foreign firms, of which over 30 percent are qualified to form their own labor unions.
The local firms annually contribute to more than 60 percent of the province’s total budget, generating jobs for the locals.
Speaking at the meeting, provincial Vice Chairman Loc highly appreciated their effort. He also revealed the province’s policies and plans for the socio-economic situation in the coming time, aiming to help the enterprises seek more investment opportunities and boost their operation.
Also, 30 entrepreneurs who have greatly contributed to labor unions were honored at the meeting.
