Binh Dinh People’s Committee organized a ceremony to announce result and grant prize to winner of the Nhon Hoi New Urban Area Planning and Architecture Idea Competition. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Huu Loc presided over the ceremony.

The competition was initiated in February and lasted to August this year. 8 organizations registered as competitors, in which 3 organizations submitted competition proposals. Given appraisal of the Examiner Board and public comments, the Provincial People’s Committee decided to award the winner Japan Nikken Sekkei Civil Joint Stock Company a 50,000-USD worth prize. The company was also entrusted with a task of working out the 1:2000 scale detailed planning of Nhon Hoi new urban area.
The Permanent Vice Chairman Le Huu Loc highly appraised the planning and architecture idea of Nikken Sekkei Civil Joint Stock Company and believed that the idea was an important cornerstone for its implementation of the 1:200 scale detailed planning. The investment into Nhon Hoi new modern urban area would be an important driving force for the development of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone in particular and Binh Dinh province in general.
