New regulations set for Nhon Hoi EZ
15:15', 5/3/ 2010 (GMT+7)

The Prime Minister has promulgated the new regulations for the operation of some economic zones (EZ) nationwide, including the Nhon Hoi EZ in the central province of Binh Dinh.

Accordingly, the EZs include two main functional quarters: non-tariff and tariff zones. The investment in the EZs is encouraged and protected under Vietnamese law.

The Nhon Hoi EZ has a natural land area of 12000 hectares. Key industries, such as agro-forestry-aquatic products processing, shipbuilding technology, and deep water seaport, will be developed here.

Also, the Government bonds are permitted to be issued for large-scaled infrastructure projects, which play a core role for the development of the Nhon Hoi EZ.
