TABMIS project to be implemented in 40 provinces, cities this year

Quy Nhon city hosted the preliminary meeting for the implementation of the “Treasury and Budget Management Information System” (TABMIS) project on March 4.

Deputy Minister of Finance Pham Sy Danh, General Director of State Treasury Nguyen Thi Nhon, and other officials attended the meeting.

The TABMIS project has been implemented since April 2006, aimed at improving the finance and budget management system of Vietnam.

Its second phase has been carried out in Central bodies, six provinces of Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Quang Ninh, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, and Phu Yen.

The project is expected to be implemented in 40 provinces and cities this year and remaining localities in 2011.
