UREC signs contract with Vinh Son JSC

Vinh Son Investment Joint Stock Company and China-based Union Resources and Engineering Co., Ltd signed a contract on providing mechanical and electrical products as well as technical services for the Vinh Son 5 hydro-electric power plant on March 22.

The Vinh Son 5 hydro-electric power plant is designed to have a capacity of 28 MW to produce 110 million KW of electricity a year.

The construction at an estimated cost of 750 billion VND kicked off in June last year and it is expected to be completed within three years.
