Export turnover up by 20 pct

The province’s export turnover value has been estimated to reach over 118 million USD since early 2010, accounting for 34 percent of the yearly target and helping the first quarter’s export turnover value jump 20 percent against the same period last year.

Binh Dinh Department of Industry and Trade reported that the private sector saw the value of 112 million USD whilst the foreign-invested enterprises’ export turnover value rose nearly 79 percent.

Minerals and construction materials increased the most sharply during the first quarter this year with 95 percent, followed by agricultural products with 40 percent and forest products with 16 percent.
