The Vung Chua Green Urban area is expected to make a major breakthrough in the city planning.

The construction of the Vung Chua environmental-friendly urban area began in Quy Nhon city on April 29.

Kim Cuc Construction and Investment Co., Ltd, the project owner, will carry out the project on an area of 107.3 ha in wards of Ghenh Rang and Quang Trung.

The first phase of the Vung Chua Green urban area entailing the construction of a trade center, an international school, and a luxury residential area is expected to be completed in late 2013.

The entire green urban area is scheduled to be available for services in 2019.

Alongside these, a luxury eco-residential area and a small-scaled trade center will be built on an area of 13.32 ha, let alone the Quy Nhon Metro Cash & Carry Center invested by Metro Cash & Carry Vietnam Co., Ltd.

The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province highly valued the flexibility of the project, said provincial Vice Chairman Le Huu Loc. Quy Nhon is expected to have a new face when the project is finished.

Loc also emphasized the project owners’ effort in preparing for the project. They organized many important workshops to work out the most suitable measures for the implementation of the project, he added.

The participation of Metro Cash & Carry and international consultancies also proved Kim Cuc’s effort in inviting investors to pour their capital into the project. “We do believe that Kim Cuc Co., Ltd will meet the deadline of the project,” Loc said.

Director of Binh Dinh Investment Promotion Center Nguyen Thanh Hai said the project would be considered as a lever to explore the city’s potential. When being carried out as planned, the project will bring many benefits to the province, such as increasing the local budget, creating jobs, and boosting the development of other services.

Initially, the company faced many difficulties, said Kim Cuc Co., Ltd director Nguyen Thi Kim Cuc. She had to go everywhere and met many consultants and partners to find the most suitable measure for the projects

Kim Cuc Co., Ltd had invested in many projects in Binh Dinh, including Nhon Binh industrial zone, Ha Thanh luxury villas, and Quang Trung University.

The company has reaped initial success in implementing the project, Cuc said. We, therefore, believe that we are capable of investing in bigger projects.
