Seminar on small-scale rural infrastructure development held in Quy Nhon

A seminar on the small-scale rural infrastructure development project and speciality credit program took place in Quy Nhon city on May 6.

The event was jointly held by the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province.

About 200 delegates including foreign experts, and leaders of MPI, provincial People’s Committee, other bodies from Quang Binh to Ca Mau attended the seminar.

Participants evaluated the results, advantages, and difficulties of the project and worked out measures to implement the project in fields of water supply, traffic system, electricity, and irrigation and the speciality credit program in rural areas.

The project has been carried out in 41 provinces and cities nationwide since 2006 and it is expected to last until 2015.
