The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province on May 7 held a meeting to review the socio-economic situation in the first four months and implement the key tasks in the coming time.

According to the reports, the province’s bodies and sectors have overcome many difficulties to boost the socio-economic development.

In the agricultural sector, the farmers harvested a bumper winter-spring crop with the output of over 295000 tonnes. In the industrial sector, the industrial production value was estimated to reach more than 2 trillion VND and the export turnover came over 156 million USD.

Also, cultural and social issues have positively changed and the public order and political security have been under control.

Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province Nguyen Van Thien asked the agricultural sector to strengthen the protection of cattle and poultry diseases.

He aslo steered relevant bodies to continue boosting the industrial production value and minimize the power-cut.
