Binh Dinh joined the seminar on investment and trade promotion in the central key economic region which was held in Hue city on June 6.
More than 200 representatives of central and Central Highland provinces and some countries participated in the seminar.
Le Van Tam, director of Binh Dinh Department of Planning and Investment, presented the province’s potential and advantages, attracting many investors’ attention.
Participants also talked about the investment attraction in the central key economic region. The provinces in the region must closely coordinated with each other in developing their advantages, such as tourism, sea economy, and deep water sea port, according to Nguyen Dinh Cung, deputy head of the Central Institute for Economic Management.
Phulavan Phukhe, governor of Laos’ Savannakhet province, and Somnai, vice governor of Thailand’s Mukdahan province, also asked for further development of the central key economic region, aiming to enhancing its role in the region, particularly in the Central Highland, southern and central provinces of Laos, as well as eastern and northern parts of Thailand.
