38 industrial parks (IP) have been built on an area of 1,185 hectares in the central province of Binh Dinh so far. Over VND1 trillion was poured into the IP construction.

Among 21 IPs which have been already worked, 14 are partly operating and 7 are fully operational, attracting 440 medium and small-scale enterprises with the total capital of over VND1 trillion.

The IPs’ operation annually accounts for 16 percent of the province’s total industrial production value and creates jobs for 11,000 local people. Many IPs, such as Binh Duong, La Nghi, Go Da Trang, Nhon An, Phuoc An, and Quang Trung, have proved their effectiveness.

The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province promulgated many policies, encouraging enterprises to invest in the IPs, re-adjusting their planning, and creating all favourable conditions for the construction and investment attraction.

The development of the IPs has not only helped enterprises expand their operation but also created positive socio-economic effects, contributing to the poverty alleviation program and the urbanization process and increasing the budget revenue.
