Permanent Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Tung, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Van Thien and other leaders received the delegation.
The local GDP was estimated to reach over VND4 trillion in the first six month of 2010, a rise of 10.48 percent, according to the report presented at the meeting. The total budget revenue was more than VND1,3 trillion while the total spending was VND1,5 trillion, up 12.28 percent and 9.6 percent respectively.
Provincial Chairman Thien asked the Ministry of Finance to assist the province in resolving some issues, such as supporting Binh Dinh in building a coastal road, refunding the advance for the Nhon Hoi EZ’s infrastructure project, advancing the capital for some key projects in 2010, and offering the financial assistance for building the light system at Phu Cat airport.
Minister of Finance Ninh highly valued the province’s achievements, asking Binh Dinh to boost the investment attraction and build plan on capital usage.
As for the province’s petitions, Minister Ninh asked the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province to submit the proposals to the Ministry of Finance for consideration.
On the same day, the delegation visited the Nhon Hoi EZ and paid working visits to relevant bodies.
