NGO disburses over US$467 mln in first-half

19 NGO projects worth over US$933,903 million have been implemented in Binh Dinh. A total of over US$467,235 million was disbursed in the first six months of 2010.

Among them, some large-scale projects include the Fred Hollows Foundation-sponsored eye care project (more than US$499,734 million), the project for disabled people and AO/Dioxin victims funded by Ford Foundation (US$174,000), the AIFO-funded community-based rehabilitation projects (over US$126,100 million), and the “capacity building for responding to climate change in Quy Nhon city” project sponsored by the Rockefeller Foundation (US$100,000).
