Sustainable rural livelihood project on its way

Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung received Ms Margaret Lowe, the First Secretary of the Embassy of New Zealand in Vietnam, on August 13.

At the meeting, provincial Vice Chairman Dung expressed many thanks to the New Zealand Government’s help in Binh Dinh, particularly its effective sponsor for some projects.

As for the sustainable rural livelihood project, the agriculture sector and local authorities were asked to implement it as required.

Some components of the project carried out in districts of Tay Son, Tuy Phuoc, Phu My, Hoai Nhon, Hoai An, Phu Cat, and An Nhon have proved effective, benefiting the locals.

Ms Margaret Low confirmed the close relationship between New Zealand Government and Vietnamese Government as well as Binh Dinh.

She believed that the implementation of the sustainable rural livelihood project will be successful as expected thanks to the steering of the authorities.
