Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ho Thi Kim Thoa and provincial Vice Chairman Le Huu Loc attended the kick-off ceremony.
The complex will be built on an area of more than 16 hectares in Cat Trinh commune. In the first phase (from 2010-2012), four garment factories are expected to be built with the total capital of VND250 billion.
One more plant will be built in the second phase, which is from 2012-2015, with the capital of VND200 billion.
After being fully operational, the complex will attract nearly 5,000 laborers and generate a total turnover value of US$100 million.
The An Nhon Garment joint stock company also opened on the same day.
