Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ho Thi Kim Thoa attended the inauguration ceremony.
The Tam Quan Garment JSC has the total charter capital of VND30 billion, of which the Nha Be Garment Corporation accounts for 51 percent, the Binh Dinh Garment Company contributes 15 percent, and the JSC’s staff share the rest.
The Nha Be – Tam Quan clean industrial cluster also made debut on the same day. It was built on a total area of 16 hectares in Tam Quan town, Hoai Nhon district.
In the first phase (2009-10), four garment plants of various kinds worth VND85 billion have been built in the industrial cluster. Two more factories are expected to be built here in the second phase (from 2010-11).
About 3,000 laborers will work in the industrial cluster after it is fully operational.
