The Vietnamese-American Hotel and Resort Co. signed agreements with three American hotel operating companies, aiming to manage 3 resorts in Vinh Hoi Bay Golf Resort.
The move is expected to speed up the construction progress and put the resort into operation soon, greatly contributing to the province’s tourism development.
Vinh Hoi Bay Golf Resort will be built in Phu Cat district’s Cat Hai commune, a beautiful countryside having a long-standing cultural tradition.
Visiting the resort, the tourists will get an opportunity to enjoy special peaceful atmosphere as well as learn about the province’s long-standing cultural and historical features, culinary culture, and natural landscapes.
According to the general plan, the Vinh Hoi’s natural features are expected to be fully exploited, but the rural scenes will be preserved by keeping cultivation areas. The locals are able to cultivate rice, vegetables, fruits or fishing to supply fresh food for the resort. Hand-made goods and local specialties will be displayed at a shopping center. Some province’s traditional arts, such as Tuong (Vietnamese classical drama) and traditional martial arts will be performed at a cultural center.
In addition, the 3km-beach with white-sand dunes will be an ideal destination for tourists to swim and relax.
Located on an area of 325 hectares, Vinh Hoi, whose eastern part faces the sea while the rest parts are surrounded by the mountains, is a long valley stretching to the beach, supplying fresh air.
It’s beautiful natural landscape together with the diversified terrain including mountains, beaches, lakes, forests, and sand dunes are suitable to build a luxurious resort. The Vinh Hoi resort is designed to cover the US-styled luxury and convenience, European-style elegance, and Asian-styled beauty.
Three 5- and 6-star resorts, one 18-hole golf course, residential villas, shopping center, an arboretum and other recreational amenities will be built in the first phase. The later phase will feature three hotels, a marina, an equestrian center.
The first hotel is expected to be built in early 2011 and put into operation in 2013. The total capital for the first phase is around USD250 million.
The project is believed to create jobs for more than 4,000 people, of whom most are locals.
The Vietnamese American Hotel and Resort Co. will build a training program offering necessary skills for those who will serve at the Vinh Hoi resort.
